The surrounding area
The Biella Province, in Piedmont, between Turin and Milan, is located in the foothills of the Italian Alps, its stunning scenery includes mountains, lakes, parks, nature reserves, castles, DOC vineyards, lush rolling hills and medieval villages.
One of the highest points towards the north is the peak of Monte Mucrone at 8339 ft., whereas to the south is lake Viverone, where water sports are on offer.

An hour away is the secret jewel of the Italian lakes, the beautiful and yet relatively unknown Lake Orta.

Whether you prefer to discover nature, enjoy the local cuisine, paint the spectacular scenery, play golf, walk in the hills, ski, or just relax and enjoy a glass of local DOC wine... the Biellese has it all.
